Description of PADEP-Act 2 Land Recycling Program Planning:
ThePADEP Act 2 Land Recycling Program creates a realistic
framework for setting cleanup standards, provides special incentives
for developing abandoned sites, releases responsible parties from liability
when cleanup standards are met, sets deadlines for Department of Environmental
Protection (DEP) action, and in some cases may provide funding for
environmental studies and cleanups. Storb Environmental, Inc. can guide
clients through all stages of PADEP-Act 2 Land Recycling Program, and
provide the most effective and efficient environmental solutions for
a particular site.
Storb Environmental personnel are experienced with the
PADEP Act 2 Land Recycling Program and can provide clients with complete,
turnkey services, from the remedial investigation phase through remediation
and closure. Storb Environmental personnel are experienced in all facets
of remedial investigation, including soil, sediment, and water sampling;
groundwater monitoring well installation; feasibility studies; remedial
design; remedial action; and closure.
The Act 2 Land Recycling Program provides options for
cleanup standards under Statewide Health Standards, Site-Specific Standards,
or Background Standards. Our personnel can assist you in making the
right decision on which standard to choose.
If contamination is present at your site and remediation
is required, Storb Environmental can propose either interim or long-term
remedial actions. At the request of the client, Storb Environmental
can prepare a feasibility study to evaluate potential remedial alternatives
and determine the most cost-effective alternative. Design drawings
and specifications for bidding and installation. Alternatively for
smaller projects, the remedial concept can be proposed in a design-build
project, eliminating the need for a separate design phase.
Storb Environmental personnel can manage the implementation
of the selected remedial action and can provide operation and maintenance
(O&M) services through the life of the project. After remediation
is complete, site closure documentation can be prepared as well as
decommissioning of equipment and facilities.
